38-0 — The Premier League Draft
38-0 carries the X-0 Games idea onto a football pitch. Draw random clubs and eras, build a starting XI from real players across four decades, and chase the one thing even Arsenal’s Invincibles never managed — winning all 38.

Why 38-0 Has Never Happened
A league campaign runs 38 matches. Take all 38 and you have a perfect 38-0 — no draws, no defeats. The closest anyone has come is merely unbeaten: Arsenal’s 2003-04 side went the whole season without losing, but a dozen draws left them well short of perfect, and even the century-of-points sides since then carried defeats. Going unbeaten is hard; going perfect is a different planet, and that line is exactly what 38-0 draws.
Eleven Picks, Eleven Risks
A draw hands you a club and a decade, and you take one player per round until a full XI takes shape across keeper, defence, midfield and attack. Eleven rounds means eleven separate chances for the draw to leave you reaching for a player who doesn’t quite fit — and the simulation notices. A shaky goalkeeper or a hole at the back caps your ceiling no matter how bright the attack, the same way a real title race punishes one weak department.
The Hardest Game in the Collection
Of the three X-0 challenges, the football edition asks the most of you. Basketball needs five players; the World Cup leans on chemistry; football simply gives you more roster spots to get wrong and a longer season to survive. If 38-0 is what brought you here, the basketball original and the World Cup edition are both a click away in the same collection — shorter games, but no less stubborn.
